Values in nature display idea. To be used in conjunction with 'Hurt no living thing&' poem by Christina Rossetti. I had pictures (collage/drawn/paintings) of minibeasts that the children had made, under a flap with a clue to what minibeast it was.

Two different pictures of hearts to be cut up and put back together. Suggestions of simple random acts of kindness they could do. Also a blank heart template for children to create their own ideas.

A Diwali-themed quotation from the Buddha. Encouraging teamwork, and also introduces the Hindu concept of Karma. 'If you light a lamp for somebody, it will also brighten your path.' Links in with diwa lamps and the Diwali story of Rama and Sita.

4 posters on Vitamins A, B12, C and E detailing some of the fruit and vegetables they can eat to get the vitamins. Also lists some jobs that vitamins do for the body.

'Dear Mummy, thank you for.... Love from' Letter writing to follow up on discussions about all the jobs mums do for us. Nice idea to include inside the Mother's Day card as a surprise. Children to decorate the border afterwards. Differentiated based on writing ability.

A table showing usual language development of a person's first language from birth to KS4. Breaks down the typical development into Understanding, Expression, Speech and Social. If using with EAL children, establish the typical development in their home language; if normal pattern, English should be obtained fairly easily. If home language delayed, there will be a delay in learning English. Very useful also for EYFS.

Profile guidance showing all profile points for PSED. Includes links to connected profile points in different area scales. Useful for co-ordinators when moderating profile scores.

Based on the Beetle drive game. Need to roll a 6 on the die to start. Cannot get head /spots/legs until body is in place, cannot gets eyes/feelers until head there. Great turn taking game; subitising, addition also included.

A tally and frequency chart made to record the number of siblings each child in the class has. Used to introduce and practise tally writing and interpreting simple survey results.

Labels and captions to use on a Family tree themed display. I made a large tree, and stuck on the different names people may call family members. A lot of the names are Asian, due to the population of my school.

One page SMART notebook display with a screen cover to hide and show rules one by one. To be used to inform children of how to keep safe before they go trick or treating on Hallowe'en. NB: I always explain that not all parents wish their child to go trick or treating, and to respect their parent&'s wishes.
